Dénia, a wonderful coastal town in the Valencian Community. Dénia has a lot to offer its inhabitants and visitors, such as sun, sea, food, beaches, nature, golf, quality of life, community and culture. 

Dénia stands out for its historical-cultural heritage, its beaches, its gastronomy and its festivals. Some of the places you can visit in Dénia are: the castle, which dates back to the 11th century and houses the archaeological museum; the fishermen's quarter, with its typical houses and restaurants; the port, where you can take a ferry to the Balearic Islands; the Montgó Natural Park, ideal for hiking and enjoying nature; and fine sandy or rocky beaches, depending on your preferences

The gastronomy of Dénia is very varied and rich, based on the products of the sea and the garden. Dénia was designated as a Creative City of Gastronomy by UNESCO in 2015, for its innovation and culinary tradition, its most outstanding and acclaimed dishes are arroz a banda, prawns, sea urchins and polp sec.

The most popular festivals in Dénia are: the fallas, which are held from March 16 to 19 and consist of the burning of monuments created by fallas artists, the patron saint festivities, which are held from July 7 to 15 in honor of the Santíssima Sang; and the Moors and Christians festivities, which are held from 13 to 16 August and recreate the history of the city.
